Tony Boggs is the man behind Unfollow and here he creates two contrasting songs for his outing on Lathelight. The a'side "All My Rifles" takes a beat that is simultaneously broken, off kilter and at odds with the other rhythms and yet creates a consistent groove built on the foundations of minimal techno. The Lathelight aesthetic is exploring these type of contrasts. Unfollow exploits and moves gracefully between a decaying, broken atmosphere and a transcendent place of perfect harmony. The b'side "Lost In It" starts with metallic-like drones emanating from a thousand year old gong, only to be lit on fire and the embers coalesce into a smeared and distant melody.
